Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed celebrates its world premiere at the Formula 1™ Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi! This limited-edition model kicks off the Mercedes-Benz Mythos series. The two-seater performance car has no roof or windscreen, providing an unfiltered driving experience that’s reminiscent of Motorsport heritage. Inspired by the sports car design of the Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar, the PureSpeed also features a HALO system, as used in every Formula 1™ car since 2018. Two aerodynamically optimised helmets, specially designed and manufactured for the model, enable uninterrupted conversations between driver and passenger via the intercom communication system. For the interior, a two-tone colour scheme in crystal white/black is reflected in the design of the AMG Performance steering wheel and the AMG Performance seats with special leather upholstery. The atmosphere is enhanced with ambient lighting. All of these elements combine to create a cohesive overall concept. The finishing touch is the exterior paintwork in a gradient from Le Mans Red to Graphite Grey with a black AMG pattern, attention is guaranteed when driving the PureSpeed.
