Got our kid his first car this summer, 2009 Dodge Journey. Not a top pick, but father-in-law was trading it in, and trade on a fwd Journey in Michigan that needs brakes is like half of what clapped out small cars sell for, so we jumped on it.
Cranking pretty slow with the cold weather, so decided to toss a battery in, since changing it requires pulling the driver’s front wheel and well liner. This thing is soooooo amazingly clean. These are known around the rust belt for rotting the tray away and then running over their own battery. Half of Reddit will look at these pics and say “so what”. But my fellow salt haters will know.
PS – Fluid Filmed the HELL out of this thing after this.
